Summer School Dates Confirmed

ELA is very excited to announce that the dates for our Summer School have been finalised. This is great news for all young learners who are looking to improve their English and enjoy a summer holiday they will never forget!

The course is for students aged 10 -15 and is suitable for all levels of English ability. The lucky students will stay in a beautiful boarding school in Linlithgow. This historical town is just 20 minutes from Edinburgh and is in pretty Scottish countryside. The school is very modern (it was built two years ago). This means that all facilities are of outstanding quality. Students will live in luxury!

The course is for 2 weeks  weeks for individuals or groups.

The only dates are available - from 31st July to 13th August 2011.

Students will have interesting English lessons in the morning with our experienced teachers. All young learners will be tested on arrival so they will be taught in a suitable class. Teachers will use games and modern technology in lessons to keep learning fun. In the afternoon we will play sports and take trips into Linlithgow and Edinburgh. At weekends we will take coach trips to the best tourist attractions in Scotland. Students will be encouraged to speak English outside of the classroom. In this way their English will greatly improve and they will learn about Scottish culture and history.

At school, juniors will enjoy use of the indoor heated swimming pool, the gym, the outdoor sports pitch, the art room, the BBQ area, the bicycle track, beautiful gardens and so much more! The accommodation is extremely high quality. All the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and twin beds. Students will stay in apartment style accommodation with seperate kitchens and living rooms with all mod cons. The award-winning catering is also superb. All food is fresh, healthy and prepared in the school. Students will have all meals provided for them.

To keep students happy we will make this an exciting holiday. They will be so busy with fun activities they will not notice that they are learning so much! In the evenings we will provide entertainment such as Scottish dancing and talent shows. At the weekends students will get to visit beautiful places like St Andrews and the Highlands. In August the Edinburgh Festival will amaze and delight. Students will be supervised at all times.
