Spanish language course

Spanish courses and private Spanish tuition.

Whether you are looking for a short or long-term Spanish course - you are a complete novice and wish to learn new phrases for a holiday, or are a competent language enthusiast; ELA can provide you with the suitable course.

Our lessons focus on improving the four essential language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. We place particular emphasis on speaking, as this is the key to communication.  Each student will receive a high level of personal attention to improve confidence and ensure quick progress. 

We provide clasess for Beginner, Elementary and Intermediate levels. Our  HOLIDAY SURVIVAL course begins in May and lasts for 4 weeks.  Our Autumn classes begin in September and are split into two terms .   

Holiday Survival Course - 2 or 4 Weeks

This is an intensive Spanish course to get you prepared for your summer holiday. The course consits of two 90 minute classes per week. Learn key phrases and vocabularly to ensure you get the most out of your holiday. Classes will be relaxed and fun with an emphasis on speaking and a taste of Spanish culture thrown in.

Classes begin on Tuesday 24th May and will be held every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 18:30 - 20:00 for 4 weeks. 

The cost of the 2 week Holiday Survival Course is £125

The cost of the 4 week Holiday Survival Course is £250

Term 1

Please notify us of your individual circumstances at the time of enrolment. The timetable is not final, and will be finalised after receiving all enrolment requests. Other language levels may be available.

The price of an 8-week course is £300

Please note - a minimum of 4 students is required before we can start a course.

Private Tuition

Private Tuition is available based on individual needs. ELA will endeavour to accommodate you choice of time/days.

1:1 Tuition

The fee per hour is £35. If you pay for a block of lessons (10 and more) in advance, the price per hour will be £30, for a block of 20 hours or more booked in advance, the price is £27 per hour.

1:2 Tuition

One tutor working with 2 students. The price per hour is £18 per person. If you pay for a block of lessons (10 and more) in advance, the price per hour will be £15 per person.

The fees are given for the classes held at the Edinburgh Language Academy premises. Tuition at your home or office can be organised as well, with an additional payment of £5 per tutor's visit.
