ELA offers Spanish courses and 1to1 tuition based on individual needs.

Who is it for?

If you are looking for a short or long-term General Spanish course and need to improve your level of Spanish for everyday situations, this is the course for you.

Our lessons focus on improving the four essential language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Our classes place particular emphasis on speaking, as this is the key to communication.  In order to provide a high level of individual attention we have a maximum of 8 students per class.

Autumn 2010 Course - 12 Weeks

Beginner:       Monday        6 September - 22 November           18:30 - 20:30

Elementary:   Tuesday       7 September - 23 November            18:30 - 20:30

Intermediate:  Wednesday 8 September - 24 November            18:30 - 20:30

Winter 2011 Course - 12 weeks

Beginner:       Monday       10 January - 28 March                       18:30 - 20:30

Elementary:   Tuesday       4 January - 22 March                        18:30 - 20:30

Intermediate:  Wednesday 5 Janaury - 23 March                        18:30 - 20:30

The fee for the 12-week course is £216

Please notify us of your individual circumstances at the time of enrolment. The timetable is not final, and will be finalised after receiving all enrolment requests.

We need to have at least 3 students before we start a course.

Private Tuition

Private Tuition is available based on individual needs. ELA will endeavour to accommodate you choice of time/day. 

1:1 Tuition
The fee per hour is £35. If you pay for a block of lessons (10 and more) in advance, the fee per hour will be £30, for a block of 20 hours or more booked in advance, the fee is £27 per hour.

1:2 Tuition
A tutor is working with 2 students. The fee per hour is £18 per person. If you pay for a block of lessons (10 and more) in advance, the fee per hour will be £15 per person.

The fees are given for the classes held at the Edinburgh Language Academy premises. Tuition at your home or office can be organised as well, with an additional payment of £5 per tutor's visit.
