ELA offers Gaelic courses
and 1-to-1 tuition based on individual needs.
Who is it for?
If you are looking for a short or long-term Gaelic course and need to improve your level of Gaelic for everyday situations, this is the course for you.
Our lessons focus on improving the four essential language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Our classes place particular emphasis on speaking, as this is the key to communication. In order to provide a high level of individual attention, we have a maximum of 8 students per class.

The fee for a 12-week course is £216
Please contact ELA for timetable details. ELA require at least 3 students before we can start a course.
Private Tuition
Private Tuition is available based on the individual needs. ELA will endeavour to accommodate your choice of time/day.1:1 Tuition
The fee per hour is £35. If you pay for a block of lessons (10 and more) in advance, the fee per hour will be £30, for a block of 20 hours or more booked in advance, the fee is £27 per hour.
1:2 Tuition
A tutor works with 2 students. The fee per hour is £18 per person. If you pay for a block of lessons (10 and more) in advance, the fee per hour will be £15 per person. The fees are given for the classes held at the Edinburgh Language Academy premises. Tuition at your home or office can be organised as well with an additional payment of £5 per tutor's visit.
