Edinburgh Language Academy is authorised to provide BULATS examinations.

What is BULATS? 

The on-line BULATS (Business Language Testing Service) is a test of business language skills. ELA offers the on-line BULATS in English, although other languages are available on request.

Who is BULATS for?

BULATS is for you if you want to test the level of your language for business purposes. The on-line test comes with a report that can be printed immediately after you finish. This shows your level using the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for languages.

Who recognises BULATS?

BULATS is recognised by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority in the UK. Employers all over the world recognise the value of BULATS certification.

How much is BULATS?

You can book a test for £60.

If you take the test in conjunction with one of our Business English courses, the test is free.

Do you offer preparation courses?

ELA offers Business English courses the BULATS on-line test is free if you take it as part of a business English course.
