YOUNG LEARNERS' SUMMER COURSES FOR 2012 - BOOK NOW!

It has been proven that studying a language while young makes learning easier and leads to fluency and ability with that language for life. We provide English language training with activities, especially designed for young learners, for levels Elementary (A2) to Advanced (C2) at our 2012 Summer Schools.

Our teaching philosophy is based on the idea that younger students learn best when engaged and therefore we use teaching techniques that make learning real, authentic, relevant and enjoyable.  The courses help young learners improve all skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening. They will also work on grammar, vocabulary, lexical structures, pronunciation and learning strategies (for example how to work on their own - an important skill for young learners).

Our experienced teachers use books, CDs, videos and interactive communication games in their lessons. In addition, throughout the course we encourage students to develop and practise their English skills outside the class – at break time and during activities and excursions. This helps the students build confidence when using English in everyday situations. Regular field trips are arranged for students to experience Scotland’s wonderful culture and history. We give the highest priority to student welfare and medical supervision and every aspect of our young students' life in Edinburgh is carefully considered by our staff with the emphasis on their safety, well-being and enjoyment.

**CITY OF EDINBURGH SUMMER SCHOOL 2012**

About: The quality and excellence of facilities, with a great location for city centre trips and excursions, means this is the perfect study break for young learners

Location: Student residency in Morningside (Edinburgh City), lessons and activities in Sighthill (20 minutes on a local bus)

Age range: 13-17 year olds

Dates: July 1 - July 28 (book for 1 week or more) 

Accommodation: 2/3/4 apartment style clusters with a shared bathroom

Facilities: sports hall, social space, classrooms, canteen etc
