Who is it for?

Our General English Courses help you improve your language skills for communication in everyday English.

We have courses from Elementary (A2) to Advanced (C2) English. The courses help you improve reading, writing, speaking and listening. You will also work on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and learning strategies - how to work on your own.

We use books, CDs and videos and communication games. Regular fieldtrips are arranged for students to experience Scotland’s culture and history and to give you material for writing presentations and reports.

We will check your level before you start your course or on the first day of your studies.

You can start on any Monday and the minimum duration is 1 week.

Full-time English courses - 15 hours a week

Minimum level: Beginner
Minimum age: 16
One lesson = 90 minutes
Maximum 12 students per class
Start on any Monday

Timetable:

Lesson 1: 9:00 - 10:30

Break: 10:30 - 11:00

Lesson 2: 11:00 - 12:30

Intensive English courses - 20 and 25 hours a week

Minimum level: Beginner
Minimum age: 16
The Morning lessons are 90 minutes
Afternoon lessons are 60 minutes
Maximum 12 students per class
Start on any Monday

Part-time English courses, morning - 9 hours a week

(students can choose any 3 days a week)

Part-time English, morning courses - 6 hours a week

As above, however students can choose any 2 days a week.

Part-time English, evening courses - 4 hours a week

Minimum level: Elementary
Minimum age: 16
One lesson = 120 minutes
Maximum 12 students per class

Course materials are not included in the cost of the course and can be purchased at an additional cost
