ELA's Foundation Success programme helps students to upgrade their English language skills to the standard required for entry to a UK university foundation programme.
Each core unit of ELA's Foundation Success programme focuses on developing the skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing in academic contexts. A major part of the programme is the focus on IELTS test preparation. All students who want to study at a UK univerity need to take the IELTS test.
ELA will help you to find a place on a Foundation Programme at a college or university in the UK. College foundation programmes will have cost advantages with a year's tuition costs between £5000 and £6000. The university foundation programmes will cost from £10000 a year. When students complete their foundation programmes successfully and achieve the required marks, they will have an opportunity to get a place at the 2nd year at a UK uinversity.
ELA can offer you guidance on applying to Further Education colleges in Edinburgh as well as other UK colleges.
ELA works in partnership with INTO - University Pathways to give international students the perfect opportunity to build a foundation for academic success.
Successful completion of ELA’s Foundation Success course and INTO's Foundation Programme will give students direct entry onto the first or second year of an undergraduate degree course.
